A Girl and Your Dog has closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We made the very difficult decision to discontinue regular schedules in an effort to help reduce our spread of this disease. As with everyone else, we are experiencing an unprecedented situation where life as we know it has been completely and abruptly changed.

Surviving financially in the Bay Area is a challenge in the best of times, and this time we're now experiencing is beyond the scope of any adjective. Our highest priority are our employees who you and your dogs all know and love. We need them to be here with us through this horrific time, and for them to be here for you and your dogs when this is all over. We have been working around the clock trying to figure out how to keep our team safe, healthy, housed, and fed during this time of uncertainty, and we need your help. The $30,000 we are hoping to raise will help ensure our ability to keep Erika, Julie, Mai, Melissa, and Veronica financially stable while we make our way through the effects of this pandemic, the timeline of which no one can predict.

It seems true that times of unimaginable crisis do have silver linings, some of which are already starting to appear. Many of our current clients have been able to commit to continuing their tuition through this uncertain time, helping guarantee that we will be there for all of you when we are able to resume.
