The worst drought to hit Ethiopia in decades is pushing millions of people towards starvation, according to the UN, destroying an age-old way of life and leaving many children suffering from severe malnutrition as it rips families apart. Most of those are in the rural areas where they relay on harvesting and crops, sheep, cattle. April and May should've have been the wettest months in Ethiopia but this year it rained only a couple of times, and the scorching heat has been the worst even in Addis Ababa. It is the city known for its rains and beautiful weather around the year, is now under strong heat that has never witnessed. I personally have travelled to the rural countries and have witnessed the heartbreaking images of people who can barely walk from starvation. There is not water from wells, scorching heat, cattle and sheep are dying, no crops. It's a very shocking thing I ever witnessed. I have tried to help some people on my own, but the situation is very drastic. So I started this campaign in the hopes I can raise money and give it to people in need. I am willing to travel to rural areas as I have created bonds with a lot of people there and do know my way around. I will set this as an ongoing and every donation will be given to those in need.
