Currently I live in Ukraine, Odessa. I had a normal life and a good job. Myself and my wife got married on 14th of February 2022. We thought it will be symbolic date and beginning of our happy life. We were making plans of our future. But war came in our country one week after and ruined everything. Right now we are only thinking of how to survive. Every morning we wake up and thank God that we are still alive while rockets are flying over our heads. Before this happened I was working on ships as a bridge officer. But now I can't even leave the country because it's war here. Borders are closed for men. I can't support my family anymore, I can't support my old mother, I can't even support myself. Unfortunately I can't get any financial support from my country, because all my life I was working outside country and was not officially employed in Ukraine. So my country doesn't let me go across the border to start working and support my family, but also they don't help me to stay here while I have no job. ? Currently we rent apartment and I even have no money to pay for next month. Pay or live on the street. That's it. I am not asking for million dollars, I am just asking for any support which can help us to survive. All we need is to pay our rent in time and buy some food. Any help will be appreciated.
