Global Light is amedical center linked to the Global Light Community Iniative, an Independent organisation of local community in Busunga Town Council, Bundibugyo District,

Bundibugyo District, is one of the areas affected by war in the Neighbouring war torn country Democratic Republic of congo, also its self is recovering from the war & terrorist attacks for the rebel Militia Allied Democratic Force ( ADF), thus with limted health services mostly from governemnt, and high number of flux of refugees from Congo, this prompted the local Community to form their own initiative to have better health services to assit the mountainous villages ,community around Busunga & high numbers of refugees.

The initiative has alot of Volunteer medical personnels, counsellors and other techinical support team, only they need afocal base from where they will help the communites.

The medical center will also act as focal point for international,goverment and regional health drives like mass immunization, voluntary counselling and STD testing, additon to medical camps for the communities.

The medical center also will be providing HIV/AIDS treatment plans for patients who stay far from the main AIDs centers with drug recovery center and maternal health trainings & awareness.

We all believe that heath is afundamental Human right and amjor social investment which muct be accessed by all people with out segreation of race, country of origin ,tribe and sexual orientation.

None of us can save anation or world but each of us can make apositive difference if we commit ourselves to do so, thus creation of this drive to reach out to all well wishers who believe for abetter world to live in.
