I write to present my compliments on behalf of Jaiho Foundation and herein kindly requesting you for partnership support to help the vulnerable children and teenage mothers of Liberia. We kindly asking you please Fund our campaign that will enable us fund our school building construction project which is intended to change the narratives in Musee, Gbanjah, Banayou, Varney Towns, and Local Village.
Here Is Brief Background of Problem We Want to Address: For almost two decades the education sector in Liberia has been living in dark, not because of lack of electricity, it is due to the long years of civil war and after the war school going children do not have access to better learning environment. The war has paralyzed the work of the Ministry of Education (MOE). More to that; as Liberia is experiencing population growth, public schools that were built in the past before the war can no longer hold the number of growing students’ population. And again, Musee Town, Gbanjah Town, Banayou Town, Varney Town and Local Village have not had any school being a private or public since the formation of Liberia, therefore, children have to walk distances for scholastic purposes. This has cause a decline in enrolment for school going kids, forcing them into traditional practices like sande and poro societies (bush school) than that of formal academic activities. Girls children who are of school going age have been subject to early marriages due to the teaching of the Sande Society, (bush school).
Project Objectives:  The project object is to change the narratives from traditional school activities to formal academic activities for these towns and villages.  To help these local communities in providing education for every vulnerable child.  Increase the enrolment of vulnerable children in primary and secondary school.  Have more children from these towns and villages becoming literate through this project  To have children living under harsh economic condition have good, quality education and better learning environment.  To have children moving away from traditional bush school activities and get into formal academic activities.  Overall, getting the children to learn under better atmosphere and with quality education.
Expected Outcome of the Project:  At the end of this project, it is expected that children will have access to primary and secondary education.  The children will now graduate from the practice of traditional school activities and to be schooled through formal academic activities.  The children from these towns and villages will have a pleasant learning environment that will lead them becoming useful citizens in the greater society.  And it is expected that this project will change the narrative of the enrolment record for children from these town and villages to an appreciable enrolment record.  Increasing the formal academic enrolment and better learning environment for children from these towns and villages is in aggregate to the expected effect of the project.
Beneficiaries :The project stands to impact about 45,000 residents from these towns and villages, within which most of them are of the age of school going children. Jaiho Foundation seeks to enrol one thousand (1000) students each academic year. This will be done through both morning and afternoon sessions. Meaning every session will have five hundred (500) students. The school will run from primary to secondary level. Project Management The school will be managed by Jaiho Foundation for the smooth operation of the project, this will be done in collaboration with local educational authority and in line with the Government of Liberia Educational Guidelines and Procedures. But on a charity bases.
Sustainability: The land is owned by Jaiho Foundation and the foundation will run these facilities in order to effectual the needed academic change that is highly required for these towns and villages. For any reason Jaiho Foundation is pouring out, these facilities will be turned over the Government of Liberia through the local educational authority for the project continuity.
