On July 23rd, a typhoon struck the city of Marikina in the Philippines. This resulted in massive floods that destroyed or damaged multiple residences, including that of the artist Christine "Tin" Coronel.

Tin is an amazing artist whose artistic talent is also matched by her generosity, as she understands that not everyone can afford to pay enormous prices for art and thus allows for people to pay affordable prices. I myself have commissioned her several times and can attest that her work is top tier.

Unfortunately, her artistic output has been stunted by the fact that her house was damaged and this has forced her to take refuge in a friend's house, as her own has been ruined by a flood in Marikina caused by the typhoon that struck the city on July 23rd. She therefore needs as much help as possible to get back on her feet.

She would require at least 70,000 PHP (around 1230 USD) to pay for repairs for her house and though she has considered rent, the situation in her city has made it so that repairing her house would be cheaper. Any donation, however small, would help. Tin in the meantime is also looking for local jobs in her city to sustain herself. The goal is shown as 1500 USD here to cover other costs such as living expenses in the meantime.
