Here is my business plan If I can have $10000. My business plan is about farming as a business which comes with 2 phases. The first is, maize farming and broiler chickens. Phase 1. First will rent 2 hectares at mitundu area where it's cheap and it has a good climate condition. In mitundu 1 hectare it costs $36 and 2 hectares will cost $72 . In each hectare will spend $443 before harvest time. Here is the break down of costs $443 Land. $36 Land clearing. $15 Manure apply. $15 Seed njobvu new variety 10kg $50 Fertilizer 2 bags $160 Apply fertilizer. $20 Pest control. $35 Seeding. $20 Baking $20 This list of cost is before harvest. I want to use SC 720 njobvu new variety by Seed-co company. This new SC 720 njobvu variety it has 150 days to maturity . This variety in 1 hectare will be able to produce from 104 bag onwards. In 2 hectares will produce from 208 bag and if I can sell $30 per 50kg bag, then will be able to make $6060 in 2 hectares. Let's see phase 2. In phase 2 broiler chickens will order 100 chick. In 100 Chick it needs 280kg of feeds. This phase most of material I already have as it was my vision to do broiler farming. Material like; Chick drinker, Chick feeder and 100kg feeds(50 kg starter and 50 kg grower). Here is the breakdown costs. Feeds are now $36 per 50kg Starter 50 kg. $36 Grower 130 kg. $79 Finisher 100kg. $72 100 Chick . $58 In total $237 Broiler chickens mature at 6 weeks. At 100 chick, will be able to sell 95-97 Chick after mature and will sell at $5 per broiler. In 95-97 broiler will be able to make $485. This means will be able to make about $248profits. After sell will reinvest $237 on broiler again and the profits from first broiler will help to maize farming in this way; Will start with broiler chickens while am preparing the 2 hectares. Broiler will help to reduce the cost of manure because will use most of broiler manure and apply them on the farm. Out of the $1000 will take $700 for 2 hectares and the remain $300 will invest in broiler. Then after 6weeks maturity will sell to make k485 The profit from broiler chickens, will help in following field harvesting activities for 2 hectares; Harvest $50 Transportation $100 Storage sack 208 $75 Machine shelling $40 Packaging $8 Pest control $30 In total $ 303 I invest more in maize farms because, not every family in malawi/ African can be able to buy chicken daily but everyfamily can buy maize in order to make Ufa(flower for cooking basic food) for Nsima which is basic food in Malawi. So if I can farm more maize, I can sell it on no time than broiler chickens. On 2 hectares will make %6060 while on broiler will make $484 All income will use to start my own land and to better the farm by introducing irrigation farming by use of solar pump which will help to farm even in dry season and also introducing other crops in the farm. By 5 years I wish to own from 10 hectares onwards and I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the force I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. Will induce others to serve me because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness and cynicism by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause other to believe in me because I will believe in them and in myself.
I also ask solar water pump which cost $2000 in malawi.
The $3000 will buy land for farming. The $4000 will buy small water drilling machine that will help many farmer to have water to do irrigation easy.
