We are a dedicated group of cat lovers who have united to form the Sri Lanka Stray Cat Rescue. Our mission is simple but profound: to save the lives of stray cats across Sri Lanka, giving them the care, love, and second chances they deserve.

As a purely voluntary and self-funded rescue, we operate out of sheer passion and commitment. We work around our daily lives, balancing work and family, to ensure that no cat in need is left behind. Whether it’s a kitten abandoned on the streets or an injured cat struggling to survive, we step in to provide the rescue, treatment, and comfort they so desperately need.

We’ve never turned away a cat in need, and we don’t plan to. Our goal is to ensure that every stray cat we encounter has the opportunity to live a safe, healthy, and happy life. We collaborate with other rescues and organizations to extend our reach, making sure that even if we can’t accommodate a cat ourselves, they receive the care and medical attention they require through our trusted partners.
