I've been dealing with severe acne since I was in middle school. I've tried multiple ways to treat it, such as using various skin care products, dieting, and only drinking water, and have been to the dematologist multiple times. Unfortunately, nothing has worked for me, and my acne has put me on an all-time low mentally. Whenever I go out, people always point out my skin. I have been called various insults, and I dread looking in the mirror every day. I am hoping to go on Accutane as a last-ditch effort, but I am in college and I cannot afford it. Dermatolgist visits are $100 a month, and the accutane itself is $185 a month. My doctor said the usual treatment time is 6 months.
