My nephew Nguyen Tuan Thanh is a 12-year-old boy living in Cao Bang, Vietnam. In May 2021, the boy had leg pain, went to the provincial hospital for examination and discovered bone disease. Then my sister, his mother, took him to a hospital in Hanoi, and the boy was ordered to have surgery and found bone cancer. Tuan Thanh was treated with chemotherapy, until September 2021, doctors performed a second surgery, then continued chemotherapy until July 2022. Over a month, the boy had an artificial bone graft, but he got an infection, so he had to have 3 surgery again. However, the doctor informed that in the near future, Tuan Thanh may have to continue to have tendon surgery to be able to walk again. Currently, Tuan Thanh's mother has to take time off work to take care of her child, the treatment costs for the boy are too great and for a long time.
