The Animal Orphanage, located in Old Town, Maine, is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter that relies on the community to continue its gracious work. As a no-kill shelter, the Animal Orphanage must allocate much of its money toward costly medical bills. These procedures range from spays and neuters to surgeries needed to keep the animals alive.
