FUND RAISING TOWARD THE SALVATION GATEWAY GOSPEL MISSION

Hello Friends, my name is JAMES OPIO alias as Apostel JamesUg. I created this campaign to raise some fund toward the salvation Gateway mission. The salvation gateway is a online gospel ministries designed to preserve and promote the truths of the historic Christian faith. In this hard time of virus and even after, all that the world need is the true gospel (words of God). I always feels something with my soul not alright whenever I don’t speak or share the world of God with at least to five (5) people a day, people that I feels they need repentance. We all need Jesus and the word /gospel need to reach them but how would they know if we don’t take the gospel to them. I allow me quote this statement “Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32 NKJV God sent His only son Jesus to Earth for primary purpose: to give us new life. In Luke 5:27-32, Jesus rewords His mission this way: "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repent." Christ came so sinners like you and I could have new life through our repentance and His forgiveness. Our lives are forever changed when we repent and seek His forgiveness. Christ's mission is also our mission. We are called to not minister to the righteous, but rather to those who are lost and in need of forgiveness. If you have sincerely repented of your sins and God has forgiven you of those sins, then you have a story to tell to those who need repentance. Your life change can create the same change in the life another. Who do you know that needs to repent and receive God's forgiveness? How can we reach them?” I have created this website (www.thesalvationgate.simplesite.com) hoping to reach many soul worldwide. Meanwhile trying to reach some by moving around the streets to achieve this mission. MISSION

We want to be one of the online agents of change among Christian men globally that advances the kingdom and rebuilds the family. We will do this primarily through daily live stream in different platform where we shall study God’s Word and live it out together through accountability and transparent relationships based on love. We shall have an extensive online Bible Study and Discipleship Program that is focused on teaching men the Biblical prescriptions used to battle the strongholds in their lives that are holding them down. Lastly, we are proposing to build a man recovery center for men to become all that God has called them to be

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Purpose We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ called to know, glorify, and enjoy the Triune God. Through Christ and by the Holy Spirit’s empowerment, we seek to love God, his people, and the world. We express this love by following all aspects of Christ’s Great Commission to “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). Ojectives

To be the kind of the community God wants us to be, we wholeheartedly commit ourselves to pursuing the following eight objectives:

1. Worship God joyfully and reverently (Psalms 95:1-7, 100:1-5; John 4:23-24; Hebrews 12:28-29).
2. Provide biblical, Christ- centred preaching that encourages the hearers to serve and honour God in all of life (Nehemiah 8:5-8; Luke 24:25-27; Acts 2:42; 2 Timothy 3:16-4:2).
3. Integrate each community into the fellowship and service of our church community (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 John 1:3-7).
4. Promote and provide care for one another to the church communities (Acts 2:44-45, 20:28-31; 1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:21-26).
5. Provide effective Christian education to equip the world to live out their faith and to be able to articulate it clearly (Deuteronomy 6:1-9; Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 28:20).
6. Help others to understand the Christian faith and embrace Jesus Christ as he is presented in the Bible (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:7-8; 1 Peter 3:15).
7. Help those outside our communities who are in need as God gives us ability and opportunity (Proverbs 19:17; Micah 6:8; Luke 4:18-19, 10:25-37; James 1:27, 2:14-17).
8. Promote unity among Christians especially by working together with our presbytery, denomination members, and other churches of like faith (1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Ephesians 4:1-7; 2 Corinthians 8:1-15).

CHALLENGES AM FACING-

Online preaching and Bible study

1. Internet data and strong internet: There is need for internet data and strong internet connection in order to avoid interruption of information flow during teaching and learning which I have been facing.
2. Good coverage camera: This is needed for clear video presentation to the viewers. I am using a smartphone which is not even with good camera and many viewers are getting the massages they deserve and as a result I decided to resort in voice recorder only and share which is not helping much
3. Computer laptop: This device is needed to help us go live on air (live stream) in sharing the gospel make a difference
4. Website Maintaince: We are getting excited for the possibility of our online teaching. We are focusing on spreading the gospel through social media. In just a few days on our website “thesalvationgateway.simplesite.com” has grown by over 1000 without live streaming and Facebook page, YouTube etc. this is a good result. Currently we are using simplesite.com with limited space which is affecting blogging of the gospel and other necessary information which could help to change many lives and win many soul to Christ. We would like to give it a good design and make it always available.-Door to Door/street teaching

1. Movable microphone: Preaching by the road with high volume of noise is too challenging to ensure people by road side receive the information. We would like to get one or even the better one with speaker (self-sound speaker )
2. Others: The activity involved some other challenges that may affect the performance.

SOLUTION

We hereby seek to raise $4000 to address the above challenges for the glory of God. However, any amout can make a difference and we shall highly appreciate.May God who sees you in private bless you and gives your heart desires as pleases Him. We love you!!!
