Cycolone Amphan has effected East Mednipur, South 24 Paraghanas, North 24 Paraghanas and Kolkata districts in West Bengal. Reports say that 80 people have died and 10.2 Lakh houses has been destroyed and huge amount of crops and farmland has been desytroyed due to ingress of sea water and flooding. Primary govt reports say that 1.36 cores people has been affected all over the state spaning 21.560 sq.km of land.
Fisherfolks community has sufferd gret loss there nets, boats aand houses has been destroyed.
this is a initiative to help the people of subderbans the most affeted area
