A learning disability affects the way a person learns new things throughout their life. same. A person with a learning disability might have some difficulty: understanding complicated information learning some skills looking after themselves or living alone
Haret En Naame (Lebanese city) has no special education schools nor learning difficulties centers.
Many children in this city need speech, occupational, psycho-motor and psychological support and intervention.
Many caregivers in this city need awarness sessions and educational consultants to understand their children's problem and to know how to deal with them and coping well.
Unfortunately, due to the economical crisis in Lebanon , the transportation fees become expensive and therapist's fees too.
Many children dropped out from their schools because their schools were unable to fit the teaching learning process regarding their needs and diversities.
Damej which means inclusion start suppprting them via online platforms and volunteers but many cases can't follow online and these children learning better face to face. We need everyone support to help us in building Damej Center for Children with disabilities at Haret En-Naameh.
