My name is Chandre im from Cape Town South Africa. I usually sells homemade bracelets, hats and headbands. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish and pay for my education because my mother fell ill. Since 2011 I have been walking the streets every day selling my handicrafts. I was actually able to provide for myself and my eleven-year-old daughter Zia with it. Since the Corona crisis, however, it has had to fight to get something to eat and pay rent and school fees. I am urgently need money to pay rent, otherwise we will lose our home. My daughter Zia enjoys going to school and is very hardworking. However, can no longer afford the school fees. The money is barely enough to get some food every few days. I often goes to bed without food because i want to leave some food for my daughter. I am trying my best on a daily basis to provide for myself and my daughter. But it has been fighting for a year, but unfortunately there is no improvement in sight.
