Hello everyone, I am Kanda, currently, I live in Thailand. Together with my family and some of my friends, We are helping refugees and asylum seeker people in different immigration detention centers in Thailand, send them fruits, food, water, and other goods, etc. Refugee in IDC

IDC stands for the Immigration Detention Center. IDC is a jail for foreigners and intended for criminals. However, the majority of the people who end up in these ill-equipped jails are refugee families who come to Thailand to seek asylum from the UN. Thailand treats refugees as illegal immigrants regardless of their status with the UN. However, since international law can make it difficult for the jail to return people to their home country, many of them can be held in the crowded IDC detention facility indefinitely.

Facilities that do not support a good and healthy life Major problems inside the IDC include: Overcrowded cellsDubious access to medical care is Low quality or inedible food, Violence Detention of children, Unclean drinking water The people inside IDC are skin and bones from the lack of nutrients in the food. The water they give them is tap water unless you buy your own from the highly overprices Jail store who charges 4X the amount for items like toothbrushes, sanitary produces and basic human necessities When you are amongst men, women, and children who are suffering something that happens to you, the deepest part of my heart was wanting to help but couldn't. We Only could give some support as much we can afford

For some chance, I managed t buy goods by myself with my small team who help me to visit peoples in the immigration detention center I buy from the supermarket and my family and small team member help to cook and help to go to visit peoples to give them food The best I could do was try to cheer people up and speak positively! Now I can help! Now you can help! I hope I could gather enough funds as much as we can because in detention center there are hundreds of peoples, man, women, young and old people, and sick peoples as well, now we send them food once or twice a week if we have a good budget we will plan to send them clean and healthy food every day We hope for your support for the people in IDC. Thank you so much
