My goal is to help young women and girls in schools in poverty stricken areas in Zimbabwe ??, to have access to no cost sanitary wear and hygiene products so they’re able to go to school and carry on with their daily activities, as I believe no child deserves to miss school due to sanitary wear. The reason for my drive was when I read this story https://www.africanews.com/2022/07/11/zimbabwe-girls-resort-to-cow-dung-for-sanitary-pads/ about the situation happening in Zimbabwe where girl are now depending on cow dung when they’re on their periods and some use pieces of old clothes which can lead to infection and a whole to of other things if hygiene is not properly applied. I plead with you all to help me with my goal so that I can help those in need. I would also you to help me end the stigma on menstruation as it’s considered a TABBOO in some areas, help me normalize this to young women and girls that it’s ok to be on your period and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
