The Anglophone Crisis, also known as the Ambazonia War, or the Cameroonian Civil War, is an ongoing civil war in the Southern Cameroons regions of Cameroon and, part of the long-standing Anglophone problem. Following the suppression of 2016–17 Cameroonian protests, Ambazonian separatists in the Anglophone territories of Northwest Region and Southwest Region (collectively known as Southern Cameroons) launched a guerrilla campaign against Cameroonian security forces, and later unilaterally proclaimed the restoration of independence. In November 2017, the government of Cameroon declared war on the separatists and sent its army into the Anglophone regions.
Due to this war, houses, schools, hospitals, properties and people have been destroyed. Many people have fled from these war zones for their lives together with their families. Every town in Cameroon has witnessed a mass movement of people from these areas running for their dear lives.
Settling in a new City or town is not always easy. Living conditions are deplorable. Most people find themselves clustered in a single room with their relatives. Almost 15people per room not knowing where their next meal shall come from, nor clothing, nor medications.
I am creating this campaign to be able to come to the aid of those around my community in Yaounde almost turning to prostitution and crime as a means of livelyhood. Please let's join our hands and make the world a better place. Thanks very much for your support in advance.
