The village of Nangou located on the border between Senegal and Guinea is one of the most landlocked places in Senegal, especially during the rainy season when the rivers take three meters and where motorbikes can no longer ride on flooded roads. And we know that a woman does not choose the period during which they will give birth.

The nearest town (Kedougou) is 100km from the village.
