Why you should help Daniel. I am a 17 year old energetic teen living in South Africa. I come from a small town in the west coast of South africa, situated next to the beach. I have stayed in Langebaan my whole life with my mother, father and younger sister. With Langebaan being so close to the beach I have developed a deep and driving passion for the marine life in my area. In my spare time I try to be as close to the beach as possible, even though it means surfing in rainy weather, going tanning on the hottest day of summer or hiking through kilometers of sand dunes. Being a nature lover like myself I do tend to keep up with popular problems regarding sea life in other parts of the world. One problem in particular is the conservation of marine life in Bali. In recent decades, Bali has become the centre of Indonesia's illegal turtle trade. It's thought that between 500 and 1,000 turtles are still illegally imported into the island each month. By the late 1990s, over 20,000 sea turtles were being killed per year. The main cause of sea turtle deaths in Bali is pollution. After obtaining this knowledge I made it my mission to volunteer in Bali. I want to take part in a program regarding conservation of marine life such as turtles in Bali through inInternational volunteer HQ or IVHQ one of the leading volunteer program provider in the world. But there is just one problem. My family does not have enough funds to help me reach my goal. This is why I’m reaching out to you! All of the funds that I will receive will go towards my volunteering program in Bali. The program costs plus additional airfare exceeds the 3000 dollar mark. I would really appreciate any contribution, big or small.
