I'm a solo rescuer in Bali. Currently I have 18 rescue cats and dogs in my care. All the kittens I found dumped like trash when only a couple days old. I raised most of them with the bottle for weeks until they became strong, healthy kitten. But now I'm faced with every cat owners worsed fear. One of my rescue kitten 'Vanilla' got diagnosed with FIP virus. There is only one very expensive treatment called GS - it's daily injections for 84 days. The medicine will be send from Malaysia, there is no stock in Bali. Without treatment the virus is deadly. I cannot afford to buy that medicine on my own. The dose depends on the cats weight, condition and FIP specification and estimated cost are 1500 - 2500 USD. If the case is severely, like Vanillas a neurological FIP , the dose need to be high and probably longer than 84 days.

I have only this one chance to save Vanilla. If I cannot get the treatment for her she will die. As the Virus is very aggressiv and already cost vanilla her eye sight and massively weakend her body and immune system it is important to start the medication ASAP to get her the chance of 80% survival and recovery. Vanilla is only 7 months old so chances that she makes a full recovery with the treatment are high. She already had a bad start into life, she deserves to get a chance to become an old cat lady one day.
