I am writing this letter in context regarding my current situation. I am a 3rd year medical student currently studying in Belarusian State Medical University. For the past two years since Covid-19 it has become difficult for my father to manage to pay my university fee and was hardly able to afford my living expenses as well. Unfortunately now it has come to a place where I am unable to sit for my 3rd year(6th semester) exams due to my financial debt to the university. My father initially was an electrician and eventually he reached to a position of directing a school named Liverpool International Students in Trincomalee with about 80 students in it. Due to the pandemic the school had to be shut down. This was the primary cause of my situation right now because that was the only source of income for us. Therefore with zero income we had to sell a land of ours and also had to get a few loans from the bank to keep up paying the university fee since 2020. Fortunately with my mothers help, my father opened a small grocery shop attached with the house we currently live in which gives them bare minimum profit to manage to feed themselves and my 2 sisters one of who has completed her ALs and is currently learning a computing course provided by a church for free and whereas my younger sister who is still schooling in a government school. Right now, even though my father is unable to do any hard work due to his health condition as he met with an accident where he fractured his clavicles and ribs, he is yet trying hard to work as an electrician to at-least provide me enough for food. I manage with the bare minimum my parents can afford with the help of a few friends for my food. The maximum I could do was to try to find a job here in Belarus to try to at-least afford for my food and accommodation but due to the university rules I am unable to. This is a humble request sir, I have to pay off $2000 by 5th of July or else I’d get expelled where I have to discontinue my studies. Please do help me sir, I will for sure pay you off right after I graduate. Please do let me know if you or your friends can help me continue my education sir. You Sir are my last hope in pursuing my goal and I would be really faithful to you and be in debt to you forever. Yours Sincerely, Mathuneethan
