My name is Jessica and I am a proud momma of a little gentleman named Logan(named after Wolverine.) Almost 2 years ago, my son, his older sister and their father movered from Portland,OR to Springfield, MO so we could see if we could work out being a family. So, they flew to me and I changed my life and home to suite my family. I knew he didn't make me happy but it wasn't about me, it was about my son who owns my heart and I was willing to sacrifice happiness just to be him mom. Not much longer, about 3 weeks from the day they arrived, Logan's father became abusive. And on Christmas morning 2020, I woke up to severe violence. The authorities came and low and behold they made me leave with nothing while the kids and him stayed in my home. Fast forward, the harassment and abuse got to the point I was calling Greene county for a standby so I could at least gety car and some clothes. If I showed up at my home he would degrade, hawk lougoes at in in front on my son and have to physically remove me and my son's from my arms. I couldn't do it, I couldn't allow my son to grow up thinking that was ok to treat any woman that way. In a matter of a month this man who father's my child took my home, my car, my dignity, left me without a jacket on my back and Greene county would not assist on retrieving my things. The most important loss was my son. I spoke to him on Feb 14 2021 and since then have been alienated from his life, that man alienated me from my family and turned them on me, I was suppose to start college( which I have been trying to do my entire life, ) and the dream I had of going to school and being a mom and loving me, became a nightmare I can never forget.
Now, I am 7 months pregnant with a little girl, just started a summer class to get in the habit of school, so I can start fulltime in the fall and I have located my son, who resides in Las Vegas with his grandparents and sister due to his father going to jail for Domestic Violence shortly after. This is all real new for me, I have all the messages, pictures and I will be a part of my son's life. I don't want to disrupt him, he has had enough disruption in his life, but I refuse to sit back and allow anyone to refuse me of my rights . I have a right to be my BUGG'S mom. Just because they are I'll intended doesn't meant I have to be the same, so instead of traumatizing Logan through ugly court proceedings, I have my court order in hand, I found an apartment real close, and I want to make it easy to be a part of his life. And only take legal action if that doesn't work. I refuse to allow my son to think I don't want him nor love him. I am have a baby at the end of August. I want to parent my children together. So, my campaign is for a retainer to have on standby just in case and to relocate to be where my Heart is. With my Son. Pay a few months rent and by then my financial aid will be able to cover my living expenses. While I get through school and raising my children.
