Hello Everybody!
I'm Fanna (24F) and I'm dealing with depression and anxiety since I was 4. This year I finally went to see a psychiatrist who gave me antidepressant, but she told me I need 1,5-2 years of therapy to fully recover because I have a lot of things to unpack.
Recently my mental health is getting worse and now I feel like it's intolerable. I don't wanna feel/live like this anymore, I want to get better because sometimes it feels like I'm going to lost my mind. It now affect my environment, I'm isolating myself from friends and family and it makes them sad and of course I can't find a significant other either.
I thought medication would help but it does nothing so therapy with a clinical psychologist is my last hope. Sadly my family is kinda poor, it's just me and my mum who works at the local factory and she still have some home loan so we can't afford therapy. I don't expect people to cover my full therapy, but with this $600, I could see a psychologist twice a month for almost half a year. I'm still a student (I wanna become a teacher) and I'm trying to find a summer job to put money aside for another 4-6 months of therapy. But I feel like I can't wait till September to have the money to start the therapy because I'm already late and my depression is totally unbearable now.
