Did you know that early and unintended pregnancy is mostly common in marginalized communities like ours and is driven by poverty,lack of education and employment opportunities,Infact according to statistics,it is the leading cause of death from pregnancy and childbirth complications amongst girls aged 15-18yrs globally! For this reason,we introduce to you our “The Tune Project”. This is a flagship project implemented by Boon Foundation with the aim of addressing the menace of unwanted,unintended and early pregnancies within communities in Ikom local government area and its environs in cross river state! The project is to run from August to October 2022 focused on 200 in school and out of school girls across 5 communities in cross river state! The vision of the project to end EUP among adolescents and teenage girls in ikom local government area! No greater feeling beats adding value and investing in the lives and future of the girl child hence we appeal for individual and corporate sponsorship and partnership to get the job done!
