South Africa is one of the countries in Africa with a large number of homeless people. The are many reasons why people are homeless. The biggest being affordability. With Covid19 and lockdown, most south Africans are finding it very difficult to meet their daily expenses that includes basic meals and housing. I pleag that we step in and assist now before the majority of south Africans won't have homes anymore. Our government has made it clear that no one should be evicted but for how long will the housing companies keep people in houses when they cannot afford rent and pay their bonds. Can we please try to contribute for people who we already know that it will be a battle for them to survive after lockdown.
