Times of opportunity arise during crises. My name is Tameka, and I work as a dialysis technician since the past 15yrs. I am a mother of 4. However, because of the pandemic crisis, which forced people to remain at home and serve a quarantine, the result in my case has been debts and burdens that I find challenging to handle on my own and with my effort and honest work. Faced with such a situation and looking for a way out, I've had to reinvent myself at work. The pandemic crisis has created a business opportunity in food service or catering at home. Since most people don't leave their homes, ready-to-eat or prepared food is a simple, practical solution that can fit any budget. Not just for a family gathering, but also for everyday life. Since cooking has always been my passion, I started this campaign to raise the money I need to equip my home kitchen so that I can comfortably prepare food, get in touch with vendors of specific foods and beverages, get a food truck, and eventually operate a restaurant. Any donation, no matter how small, is gratefully accepted and will be put toward the purchase of the equipment and supplies need for modifying my kitchen to fit the requirements of the business model, as well as the food essential to running the operation.
