Save Africa Orphanage is located in Usa River, Tanzania just outside of Arusha. It was founded in 2010 by Francis Raimond with Vaileth Urassa and Mery Leonard. On October 14, 2011, the centre was registered under registration No. 0005039. There are now ten staff members at Save Africa, with 8 of them being paid. Save Africa Orphanage continues to be directed by Frances Raimond with the help of these other staff members.

At present, there are a total of 96 children at the centre. Forty-seven children sleep at Save Africa and 31 go home in the evening. Forty-eight of the children receive financial support from outside sources to attend primary schools in the area. The other 30 students attend classes at Save Africa during the day. Our monthly expenses include rent, electricity, food and medication. We strive to provide these necessities for the children at the orphanage and hope to equip them with the skills necessary to live a full-filling life.
