My wonderful father, Kevin Carter, is battling stage 4 prostate cancer. The cancer has progressed quickly and has spread outside of the prostate. We are asking for everyone's prayers for God's miraculous healing, as well as help covering the very expensive costs associated with his cancer treatments. My parents do not have insurance and are looking at some pretty big costs moving forward, but we know God will make a way. If you know my Dad, you know how giving he is, how much he likes to have long chats (usually about God or hunting), and that he loves to joke around and have a good time. He has dedicated his life in service to God and His people. He spent most of his life as a minister, moving around to where leadership was needed and was ordained as a Reverend in 2018. He's always been an amazing Dad who works hard and provides for his family, no matter what it takes. He's now such a fun and wonderful Grandpa to his 6 grandbabies. Dad will be the first to tell you he has a lot of life left to live, at 68 years young. He is not giving up and believes that God can and will heal him because of what Jesus Christ already accomplished for him on the cross. We are doing our best to seek out the right medical care for Dad, while praying and believing that God will lead him to full health and deliverance. 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Above all, we're asking for prayers. We know they make a difference.
