Hello, I woke up this morning to the sound of my dog yelping in pain and unable to get up. I quickly rushed her to the nearest vet but there was nothing they could do or tell me. I finally found a pet hospital that could help. After Lexi had some tests done and got to see the vet, I found out that she has intervertebral disc disease. This is a spinal disorder that comes from a herniated disc that affects the spine's shock absorber. Luckily this can be corrected with surgery. I'm thankful that this can be corrected but unfortunately, surgery costs will be close to $10,000. While I have some savings, it won't be enough to completely cover everything. Anything you'd be willing and able to give would be so helpful. Lexi is my baby and I wouldn't want to see anything horrible happen to her. I can't wait until she's her normal happy and hyperactive self again. No amount is too small when it comes to Lexi's health. Thank you.
