In Ukraine the public health system depends heavily on private investment for equipment supply. My company provides the rental of such special and much needed equipment. As you may know, insurance companies do not cover any losses in the time of war, so this equipment is gone and we are unable to replace it. I am writing to you here, with an appeal to you all to help to raise the money for the CT scanner, to try to reinstate the equipment to the hospitals in Ukraine who desperately need it. Perhaps you have contacts in US hospitals or across the United States? Perhaps you know of special equipment which is looking to be sold on at an auction? Perhaps you know of someone who would be interested in donating a CT scanner. The CT scanner is essential diagnostic equipment, without it, lives are at risk from mistreatment or missing early diagnosis. The Russians couldn't take the city of Chernihiv, as it was defended by our brave soldiers, who will have been treated in this hospital, I think that's why they have targeted the hospitals, so there are more casualties.
