My name is Bianka, but this is not the name on my ID card. I was not born in the right body 21 years ago so now I am transitioning to become my true self, a woman.

I kindly ask for your support in starting my new life - so I can pay for my final surgery, finish school and in the meantime start my own business.
I would like to give back to the community by helping others who are different - LGBTQ+, people of colour, racial/ethnic minorities or otherwise different from the so-called 'normal' - to find safe places to work and stay in my home country.

I am currently cleaning homes and airbnbs for a living. I am planning to start a business around airbnbs - I would like to assemble a team and offer management (cleaning, maintenance, washing, booking and admin) services to airbnb owners. I want to make sure these accommodations are safe for people like me when they visit, and I want to offer employment to the above mentioned 'different' people who would otherwise have difficulties finding a job.

Why I am asking for your help
I was born in a small village in Hungary. You may have heard that our recent elections delivered a two-thirds parliamentary majority to Viktor Orban and his right-wing conservative party. A referendum was held on the same day as the national election, which the government claimed was a vote on child protection laws, but in fact the questions amounted to discrimination against the LGBTQ community and an attempt to whip up fear over what children are taught in school and exposed to in media. Thankfully fewer than 45 per cent of eligible voters cast valid ballots so the referendum was declared invalid. However this is just the tip of the iceberg...

I cannot live the life I want because changing your gender and your gender-compliant name is prohibited by law in Hungary. I look like a woman but all my official papers have a male name in them, it causes issues every day for me. The worst aspect is that it is hindering me from finding a job. I had lots of successful interviews and trial days for office positions but whenever we arrive at signing the contract, suddenly my situation is a problem. Schools are not prepared for students like me either, so I am having difficulties finding an institution where I could finish my last high school year and do my Matura examination. I had to realize that starting my own mini business could be the only solution. I want to study and also improve my English (this intro has been translated by a friend of mine).

I currently live in a temporary shelter for the homeless because I don't have a home yet. My family abandoned me, my father threw me out because he could not handle who I am, and sadly I lost touch with my mother because of a new man in her life who keeps undermining our relationship. He thinks I am a shame to the family. I have been saving money for a deposit so I could rent a small apartment.
