Good evening! We are residents of the city of Zaporozhye, in Ukraine. Now a war is going on in our country, the genocide of the Ukrainian people by Russia. For 12 days now, our people and our army have heroically defended their independence and their land. In such a difficult moment of our lives, we want to remember and exhort us not to forget our younger brothers. The animals are abandoned and the most vulnerable. There are caring people in our city who organize shelters and take care of abandoned, homeless and injured animals. One of these shelters is the Chance shelter. The hostel lives on donations and has a minimum number of staff. Chance is a temporary shelter for dogs that need treatment (Zaporozhye). There are more than 150 dogs in voluntary care, and each one of them has a difficult story and a lot of pain: betrayal, hunger, injuries, viruses, diseases.In the early days of the war, the shelter faced a shortage of animal feed. The initiative group organized the purchase of more than 380 kg of food and delivery to the shelter by our forces. Over $500 a day was raised, allowing us to provide food for the dogs for 7 days. Now we are planning again to organize the purchase and delivery of dog food at the shelter. They need us now more than ever. We invite you to be part of us!
