Hello! My name is Deborah and I am terminally ill. I was diagnosed with a chronic condition a couple of years ago that has plagued me with pain 24/7 in addition to having early onset dementia.

I am 51 years old and I am unable to work now. Filing for SSD has been difficult and slow because of Covid but also because I have no one to help with decisions and to keep a calendar or to just remember things that need to be done.

As often occurs with ill people, my family and what few friends I had abandoned me when I became sick. I do have one shining star and that is my three pawed catahoula, Arlo, who is my protector. My best friend.

My long term boyfriend helped me financially for a few years. Then in September 2020, he defrauded me out of my mortgage free home on the premise that he would set me up closer to him so he could take care of me better.

That did not happen and it was never his intention. He just no longer wanted to spend anymore money even though he is wealthy and I was supposed to refile the following January.

Arlo and I ended up living out of my vehicle and doing everything I could to keep us alive. It has been hard watching myself deteriorate, being alone with no help and no real shelter. I even suffered a couple of mild strokes.

I am tired. I would like us to have a peaceful place to live where Arlo can run and play. I would like to enjoy the few months or years I have remaining before I can no longer remember my own name.

We just want a little piece of land with a tiny home somewhere in the country. We aren't picky and need nothing fancy. Just a place we can call home.

My heart is so broken because I never would have thought my life would end up this way. I don't understand why I'm alone because I had always been there for them

Will you please help? We are so desperate. Anything you can give, anything small or large is greatly appreciated. And it doesn't even have to be money. Maybe help finding the right place and getting the material or help with labor... anything.
