Hope this finds you well, My names are Kiggundu silvester born and raised up in Uganda. In brief, I lost my father when I was in form two and we were raised up by our mother who was a mere house wife. At 15years, I started paying school fees for my self through doing hard works like fetching water on construction sites, brewing crude waragi (alcohol made from bananas), cutting trees for firewood and charcoal, digging in the villages, among others. After form four, I couldn't manage to continue with my education reason being the people I worked for refused to pay me and I dropped out of school. After staying home for one year, there came salesian fathers and started a school , called Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre Namaliga. I chose atleast to learn a trade fron Don Bosco but where to get school fees from? . I went to the office of the principal called Reverend Father Richard Joziwiak ,I knelt down and pleaded for help.
The prinncipal agreed and gave me a bursary for the all course. l preformed well and I was the best student in the whole school at The end of The course that year. The school used to award the best student with equipped tool box, but for my case I requested them to instead to help me upgrade. They agreed . I joined Lugogo Vocational Training Institute for craftmanship certificates part one and two, Then kyambogo University for a Diploma in building and civil Engineering. Unfortunately, the very year I finished my studies, is the year my sponsor transferred, but what I did, I went back to that school and worked for them for a period of two years. Then after, I started a building construction company that train orphans and school dropouts on job, and after employ them as casual labourers.
This is not enough friends, I need to build a primary school to help the young ones who can't go construction sites to learn a job.
I know with your assistance, I shall reach where am going. Out of my small savings, I bought a plot of land and I'm looking for $50,000 to set up building structures.
Remember, "Little help is better than alot of pity".
I will be grateful for any offer given to me.
May God bless you
