Lemurs are an integral part of Malagasy wildlife, efforts at conservation are being hampered by daily logging activities resulting in the destruction of their native habitats. These lemurs with no where to go end up being killed by their natural predators or more often as roadkill. It is estimated that within the next 20 to 30years, certain species of lemurs native to Madagascar such as the ringtail lemur and rat lemur could go extinct if conservation efforts are not sustained or better still ramped up. We at Save A Lemur Conservation Centre are currently working to assist and support wildlife in the area especially the lemurs. Monies raised will be used for: - Emergency relief and support of animals in the Ranomafana regional wildlife Centre. - Continued support and rehabilitation of animals at the centre. 100% of all money raised will be donated directly to the Ranomafana Wildlife Shelter. 100% of all money raised will be used for the emergency relief and ongoing support of the animals at the Ranomafana Wildlife Shelter. Photographic updates will be provided. Direct commentary will be provided. Confirmation of donation from founders of Save A Lemur Conservation Centre and Government Representatives will be provided.
