My name is Huda, I'm based in Bahrain, 32 years old and working as a Cashier in a diner.

Animals are my huge love and it breaks my heart on a daily basis that we have sooooo many stray cats and dogs in my country and many of them are in a horrible condition.

Although being a rescuer often feels like tilting at windmills and throwing money in a bottomless pit - I refuse to ever give up.

at the moment, I live with with 18 rescuesin a humble flat that I rented particulary for them.

Their names are:

3) Chumchum
4) Rainbow
5) Tia
6) Toby
7) Hazel

9) Sally
10) Kul
11) Rocky
12) Mochi
13) Lola
14) Eddy
15) 16) 17) 18) = 4 unnamed yet - name suggestions welcome ?

always some foster cats/kittens joining the gang for a while...

As you can imagine, all my money goes into cat food and supplies, unfortunately lots of medicine and vet bills…
There is never enough left at the end of the month - let alone to invest in something like for example an air conditioner - which in some countries may be considered luxury but when living in the desert is a must especially since the cats really suffer from the heat during our 8-9 “summer months”.

Bottom line:
On top of the vet bills and other active debts I need an amount of at least 1400$ for the deposit amount that the electricity authorities require, plus paying my previous pending bills because without doing that my application won't even be considered…

I hate asking for money, which always kept me from opening a “fund me” account - but now I have reached rock bottom and really don’t know what else to do.
Especially since my latest rescue kitten need a pretty expensive surgery ???
