FlipAR is an Augmented and Virtual Reality application that uses 21st century technology to tackle one of the critical root causes of poor learning outcomes in Ghana, Africa and beyond that eventually lead to an unskilled population. The application enhances the teaching and learning experience for both teacher and student. It makes explaining easier for the teacher, and understanding easier for the student. In addition to providing students with immersive learning experiences, other benefits of virtual reality in education include the ability to inspire students’ creativity and spark their imaginations.
