PMCL Radio specializes in environmental protection through awareness raising, sustainable agriculture (Agro ecology) trainings and and social changes through engaging behaviour change communication initiatives.
While several efforts have been invested in environmental protection initiatives, evidence show that the complex physial barriers and lack of infrastructure in Equateur limit the ability of those rojects to reach remote communities with vital information needed for improved environmental protection.
Environmental destruction has meanwhile continued and has reached alarming proportions. To overcome these physical barriers and reach remote communities with information (at a cost-effective manner), PMCL radio is launching a mass sensitization campaign through radio broadcasts in order to reach even more people with inforation, knowledge and skills they need to interact more sustainably with the environment and protect the rainfore

The compaign will feature exchange of experiences between communities on changes in their environments and consequences they're experiencing, environmental rehabilitation initiatives and mass awareness raising & training by environmentalists throughout the province of Equateur, covering Mbandaka, Bikoro, Ingende, Lukolela, Bomongo, Mankanza, Basankusu and Bolomba territories
