Hello Everyone My name is Previledge Tafadzwa Makaza, I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Occupation Therapy (2018), Second Upper Class. My ambition has been to change the lives of people through engaging in livelihoods activities and mental health awareness. During the course of my studies I started a small charity organization that focused on livelihoods and mental health for the young children and teenagers. The organization grew and without proper background in business and organizational management it was difficult to manage the organization. I looked for advice and a mentor advices that I need to study a Master’s in Business Administration for me to be able to gain the skill required to manage the organization. Since 2019 I have been applying to various Universities for enrolment. I have been receiving a lot of acceptance letters from various Universities and 3 days ago I received another acceptance letter to pursue an MBA. Receiving the acceptance letters from the various Universities used to make me happy but I realized I was not able to pay for the high tuition; since 2019 I have been trying to apply for various scholarships and I have been failing to secure any. Coming from a Southern African Country, I am not eligible to apply for most of the scholarships due to my nationality. I tried approaching friends and relatives but I haven’t been successful in getting the funding I need, a lot of people have been negatively affected by the country economy which has a high unemployment rate and on top of that the COVID pandemic. My dream is to gain the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that is required to run a functional organization. The organization has managed to change the lives of some people as far as livelihoods and mental health is concerned and I believe in few years, we are going to help millions more. I really appreciate any amount that you can contribute, I believe every amount counts. I really appreciate your help.
