The Liklik Stori Tasol Book Project aims at supporting rural schools in Papua New Guinea with learning materials such as books and stationary.
In a country where 1/2 of its rural population are illiterate, we hope to support the rural schools with books and stationary as most rural schools are under resourced and children in rural schools are not much exposure to quality learning materials to improve their skills and knowledge.
Through the support of Books4PNGKids Australia and other partners, the project has reached more than 20 rural schools in PNG.
However logistics cost is a great challenge as most schools are remote with no road links and learning materials can take longer to reach the schools on timely basis.
We are reaching out to kind hearted people to support this cause to help us get learning materials at the nearest Port in PNG to the selected rural schools on timely basis for the children who are in dire need of learning materials in rural schools in Papua New Guinea.
