I'm Shirleen Mukami, a single mother of a 5-month old boy who has joined together with other young mothers to support young women with little kids like us who did not have the chance to experience the joy of pregnancy, the warmth of being a mother, the presence of a father or even the celebration from the society. I am a single mother who has lacked the love of my baby's father, went through depression during pregnancy, is raising my baby alone and struggling with huge responsibilities and bills while still unemployed. This situation has left me totally devastated and, to occupy myself and stay sane, I started the 'Baby Shower Sisters' and my main aim is to stand together with my fellow young mothers by visiting them, sharing stories with them, hearing them out, encouraging them and taking them a little shopping to support their young kids. We aim to raise funds to buy diapers, Wipes, Vaseline, Earbuds, Basins, tissue papers, potty and other basic essentials. Kindly stand with us. Thank You.
