My name is Hakeem Lennox, I am currently 23 years old and I am a Self Defence Instructor. I have been teaching self defence as a career for over 4 years now. In that time I have faced many hardships which ranges from walking miles upon miles in order to attend a session with a client because I am unable to find the fare needed for transportation, providing my services for less than minimum wage because of the immediate need for money to survive, sleepless nights and days trying to get myself out there and be a presence that people will see and know and hopefully expand my brand, facing much embarrassment in situations that would have many falling into depression and suicidal thoughts; and the list goes on and on in the many hardships that has been faced throughout these years of trying to survive in a 3rd world country which does not support young entrepreneurs like myself without being able to meet crazy demands for sponsorships.

I am a father of one beautiful baby girl and I live my daily life trying to do everything within the law in order to provide for my family and give them a life filled with less hardship than the one I am enduring.

I know this will come as a shock to many and allot more will have unspeakable things to say regarding this plea, however after the corona virus pandemic unfolded in march 2020 in my country, my already struggling days has moved to unspeakable levels and sometimes I sit and wonder how we are even still alive as we should have starved, been homeless or even worst due to the sacrifices we have made as a family and the lack of job request due to the strict lockdown policies and social distancing measures put in place by our government.

With not having any jobs or the means to provide for my family, I got mixed up in some unscrupulous events (in which i rather not share), but they have opened my eyes to the lengths people will go to in order to survive. I am just a young Jamaican man seeking a way out for myself and my family, hence I decided to share this story with you in hopes of getting some assistance in kickstarting a means of residual income.

Any assistance would be widely appreciated and would go towards, paying for outstanding debts against my name in order to get my life back on track, as well as being able to open a location for my business in order to have a physical place that persons can utilize at a charged fee / opening a little wholesale in this pandemic which is a necessity business that will bring ongoing income for my family.
