Her name is Namuwaya Masitu, aged 10 in primary three class at Citizen Primary School located in Iganga District,Uganda and being taken care of by "Save The Needy Community Association (STNCA)" a religious organisation that caters for all sorts of children in need. Her dream is to become a pediatrician,as she has great love for the kids.At the age of two months, she fell sick with malaria and taken to the nearby clinic for treatment but this happened to be the genesis of all the mess currently affecting her.
Later,8 to 9 weeks,it was confirmed that Masitu had developed "Gangrene" in the feet that seriously affected her and led to her numbness in the half of the legs. This became a life threatening condition after unpleasant and worrying signs being sighted that included initial swelling and turning reddish of the feet(disclored) and consistent severe pain in the legs regardless of the feet being touched or not. An immediate action needed to be done to save her affected legs but unfortunately the parents could not afford the hospital bills by then. The accused doctor that had caused all the situation(the one that used the wrong medicine that caused Gangrene) could have been forced to carry the expense burden but then he had gone into exile for his safety after realising that he had made a medical lifetime mistake and upto date his whereabouts are unknown both to the public and the security organs in need of him. Later the condition worsened as there was no medical action being taken, not willingly but due to financial issues and this resulted into Sloughing off of the legs as the effect of dry Gangrene had reached the climax. All she needs are prosthetic legs to enable her walk again and these range between $30000 to $50000. It hurts that she is cant use crutches and she cant afford a wheel chair, but we can make her walk again by contributing to her prosthetic legs.Lets make her achieve her dream as she currently gets tough times going to school, playing with her fellow kids and helping her grandmother accomplish domestic work. The little you donate goes straight to the account of the organisation that that takes care of her,and will be used to get her walking legs. You can help by donating and sharing for her good, whatever the contribution,we shall highly appreciate the little you donate to us and this gives "unbelievable hope" to the little kid Masitu and this gets a smile on her face. #Donate#share#helpmasituwalkagain You can contact the organisation(Save the Needy Community Association)that takes care of her for more information. You can contact the members of STNCA on their social page. Lets get a sister Legs. Additional Information about the parents; She is born to Cissy Hafusa(mother) and the Late Isabirye Mici(father) with the mother alive and unemployed, while the father was a brick layer stationed in the suburbs of Nakigo Parish,Iganga District Uganda. Before STNCA taking care of her she used to live with thegrandmother,Naigaga Magret who is considered among the vulnerable currently.May the Lord help us make Masitu walk again.
