I have started fundraisng for Jawakhali Jubo Sangha [ A youth led Non-Profot Organization operating in Shyamnagar Upazilla in Satkhira district of Bangladesh]. I am trying to raise $ 10000. These donatio will empower women and grls in coastal areas of Banglesh by reducing disaster risks and climate vulnerability and ensuring sustainable environment.

My goal is to raise $ 10000 to empower women in South Asia. To do this I am working with an organization called "Jawakhali Jubo Sangha" in South Asia that works for disaster risk reduction, climate change and sustaible environment.

Shyamnagar Upazilla of Satkira district is one of the disaster prone and climate vulnerable areas in Bangladesh due to its geographical location. Sidr and Aila hit on this area in 2007 and 2009 and destroyed huge lives and livelihoods of this area. Jawakhali Jubo Sangha cretes space for the coastal women and girls to build a disaster resilient community, secure livelihoods and sustainable environment and more.

If I reach my goal of $10000 I will be assigned to be an upcoming project where it most needed in the coastal areas of Bangladesh. Help me support Jawakhali Jubo Sangha by making a donation.
