My name is Ryan. I'm 21 and I'm from Iran.
I have some pretty big dreams in my life and I've always wanted to be remembered but I live in a place where is designed to destroy them and lock me down in a box. Every day is a struggle and it gets harder to go on.
I'm a closeted gay guy in a Islamic country where my existence is against many people's beliefs including my own family and that is the beginning of my life story.
I've been in the closet since I was like 13 and always tried my best to keep it that way so I never let anyone get enough close to me to figure it out and that why I don't really have any close friends who know the real me.
I've always wanted to be big and remembered but I didn't really know how until I fell in love with music. It became my whole life and my run away from all the messes in my life but if you google Iran you'll find out that it's not really an ideal place to be a musician especially if you're a little low on the funds. So I chose the next best thing for me which was being a surgeon. I worked my ass off to get into med school but I failed my one and only chance even though I did great on the exams, it's a very long story why cause the educational system is broken here. I had to move on with my life and I really wanted to run away from everything so I chose a major that I thought was the next best thing in the other side of the country and it turned out that I was wrong.
I figured that no matter how hard you try to fool yourself, you can't forget your dreams and people in the other side of the country are still the same people I ran way from. I'm technically lost and trying hard not to break but honestly I'm not sure how much of me is gonna be left after all.
I did a bit of research and found out that if I make enough money to apply for a language college in France I would be able to study any thing I want for free but the money is impossible for me or my family to make.
