There was a fire. Mora was only saved thanks to the firefighters who pulled her out of the burning box by force.
When they arrived the fire had spread to all the boxes. Other horses , though badly burned , managed to escape. Mora stayed in the stable. Her stall burned like a torch and she couldnt take a step . Fear paralyzed her.
Eventualy , the firefighters managed to get her outside . The burns were very extensivw . Mora has already cheated an unfriendly fate once. A few years ago its owner bought it from a dealer . She cared for her as best she could . Mora received board and grooming , as well as the great love of her savior , for which she thanked her in her horses way. The mare is very wise , humble and , above all , balanced. This horse is a friend and faithful companion. Nobody expected everything to change in an instant . Now Mora is fighting for her life . Vets say she is brave and the worsr is behind her, but the cost of treatment is enormous. We took care of Mora , becouse her owner is not able to bear it. Bills from the clinic are beyond the financial capacity of a single person , so we decidet to help.
Together we have more power. The Mora is in the clinik , her condition is stable , but Mora must stay there for at least 6 more months. The estmated cost of treatment is over 5000 euro per monts. Mora is calmer now, but the extensive wounds still remind us of what haappened. We ask for your help.
