Hello, I'm Evelyn and I've been running a mental health support server for everyone over the age of 13. Being a person who has suffered from major depression, anxiety and dealt self harm I know how hard it can be to reach out and find help. And the fact that 'mental health' in general is still considered taboo doesn't make the situation any easier. So I decided to make a mental health support server as a save haven for teen ( and adults) who need support during tough times. To my surprise the server ended up doing really well and was gaining over 100 members each week. It's save to say that the sever has helped save countless number of people in more way than one and that just gives a great feeling inside.

The server has been active for a good 4 months now and has gained well over 1000+ members during this time. The main purpose of the server is to help kids (teens and adults included) with mental health issues who don't have access to the necessary facilities to help them.We have a warm ad loving community which encourages everyone to voice their feelings and seek help. No one is alone, we are here for you.The sever runs a volunteer based help system, implying that there are no professionals, just people who want to help.Recently I've been wanting to do more for my community and I asked them how I can do this and many of them replied ''by getting actual therapists/counsellors to help'' and I fully agree.

So I went to a number of sites where therapists are available and unfortunately I was saddened to find out that none of the services are free.And that leads me to where I am now. I would like to save up some money to get professionals to help these lovely people. The services that the server provides are meant to be free and I'd like to keep it that way. Which is why I'd rather go with donations instead.
