My name is Mohamed Abdi and I am raising funds for my brother Gerald Abdi, a 48-year-old father of 4 amazing kiddies, who desperately needs your help. He is a farmer and lives in a rural area in Kampala, Uganda. My brother collapsed last week, after fighting excruciating pain on his lower back for the past 3 weeks, due to 4 failed back surgeries. It has been a roller-coaster ride for the past 6 years, but now we find ourselves in a position where we need to raise 4 million USH (R15000= 1000$) to cover the Hospital shortfall, as well as the co-payment for the MRI scan which we desperately need in order to access the damage in order for treatment or surgery to commence. Due to his being a farmer, he spends 90% of the day on his feet. Without this scan, he won't be able to work, which means no salary, therefore we need to raise the funds urgently in order for his to get back on his feet asap.
