The Orphan Care Charity in Jordan is one of the many small organized association (Non-Government Organization) in Jordan which needs funding to help and provide assistance, food, shelter and other basic needs for people especially children who lost their homes and those who have nowhere to return to. These children either lost their parents in accidents, war in Syria, Palestine, Iraq and other neighboring countries (yes, there are refugees) and other fled their homes as they're victims of violence, abuse from their parents/family.
There have already been other organizations/foundations/charities sponsored by the government and the UNHCR mostly caters to people in the refugee camps only. I've been doing charity works since I was 16 years old in the Philippines and now, I'm currently living in Jordan and wants to do the same as I've seen the growing number of homeless people and children starving out of poverty and growing number of unemployment rate currently at 35% while the cost of living continue to soar higher.
Currently, economic participation of women remains lower than in other countries in the region. Jordan also has one of the lowest level of water resource per capita in the world. As the population doubles, water scarcity and famine will become an even greater problem and will challenge poor farmers and those people in low-class society status to improve food security and lovelihood. This organization continued working to meet the needs of these people, children, women, poor farmers and refugees, all affected by conflict, economic disparity and fragile resource base.
